LEGAL NOTICE AND TERMS OF SALE

About our business
This website is operated by Angela McConnell, trading as Petal & Kind. Our business address is 47 Friarton Road 0/1 G43 2PL. You can contact us at ae0066093@gmail.com or 07449958689.
These terms apply to purchases of physical goods from our store by consumers in the United Kingdom and European Union. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts your mandatory consumer rights.
Products and orders
We describe our products, their main characteristics and prices on the relevant product pages. Please check your chosen product, quantity, delivery address and any personalisation before ordering. Product images are illustrative, but goods must match their description.
Your order becomes binding when you receive the item ordered. We will provide confirmation of your contract in a format you can save. If we cannot fulfil your order, we will notify you and refund any payment taken for the unavailable goods.
Prices and payment
The currency and total payable amount, including applicable taxes and delivery charges collected by us, are shown before you place your order. Where import duties or additional charges may be payable separately, we will explain this before purchase, including how they are calculated where reasonably possible. Payment methods are displayed at checkout.
Delivery
We deliver to UK and European Union. Available shipping methods, charges and estimated delivery times are provided before purchase.
Unless a different delivery period is agreed, we will deliver without undue delay and within 30 days of accepting your order. If delivery is delayed, please contact us. Your rights to set an additional delivery deadline, cancel where legally permitted and receive a refund remain unaffected.
Goods remain our responsibility until you, or someone you nominate other than the carrier, receives them. Different rules may apply if you independently appoint a carrier we did not offer.
Your right to cancel
For most online purchases, you may cancel without giving a reason within 14 days after you, or your nominated recipient, receive the goods. Where goods from one order are delivered separately, the period generally begins after receipt of the last item.
To cancel, send a clear statement to [Email or postal address] before the cancellation period expires. You may use the cancellation form below, but it is not compulsory. EU customers can also use our online withdrawal function.
Returning goods
After notifying us of cancellation, send the goods to 47 Friarton Road 0/1 G43 2PL within a further 14 days.
You pay the direct cost of a change-of-mind return only where we informed you of this before purchase. Otherwise, we bear that cost. For goods that cannot normally be returned by post, any applicable return cost will be disclosed before purchase.
You may inspect goods as you would in a shop. Where legally permitted, we may deduct a reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. Original packaging is appreciated but is not an absolute condition of exercising your statutory rights.
Refunds following cancellation
When you cancel your entire order, we refund the price paid and the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option. Additional charges for premium delivery are not refundable under the change-of-mind cancellation right.
We refund without undue delay and within 14 days of being informed of cancellation. Unless we offer to collect the goods, we may withhold reimbursement until we receive them or you provide evidence of return, whichever occurs first.
Refunds use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, without a refund fee.
Personalised goods
The change-of-mind cancellation right does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, such as a luggage tag made with your requested name or initials. We will identify such products before purchase. This exception does not affect your rights if the goods are faulty or incorrectly supplied.
Faulty or incorrect goods
Please contact ae0066093@gmail.com if your goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described. We will provide the remedies required by applicable law and cover necessary return costs.
UK consumers generally have a 30-day short-term right to reject faulty goods. Repair, replacement, price reduction or refund rights may apply afterwards.
EU consumers benefit from a minimum two-year legal guarantee for non-conforming goods, with longer or additional protection where national law provides it. Remedies may include free repair or replacement and, where the legal conditions are met, a price reduction or refund.
Sale items retain the same statutory protection as full-price items.
Privacy
Our Privacy Notice explains how we collect and use personal information, the lawful grounds for processing, retention periods, recipients, international transfers and your rights. Our Cookie Policy and cookie settings are available at [Links].
Complaints and applicable law
Please send complaints to ae0066093@gmail.com. Where applicable, we will provide information about relevant alternative dispute resolution arrangements and whether we are required or willing to participate.
These terms are governed by the laws of [Relevant jurisdiction]. This does not deprive you of mandatory protections applicable in your country of habitual residence or restrict your rights to bring proceedings in courts available to you under applicable law.
Changes to these terms apply to future purchases. Your order is governed by the terms supplied when its contract was formed.
